About Me

Hi, I’m James.

I believe the best photographs come from real moments—natural expressions, genuine connection, and people feeling comfortable in front of the camera.

My journey with photography began in 1998, and over the years I’ve carried a camera through life in the United States, Germany, and across Europe. But today, my focus is much more personal: creating beautiful, authentic portraits of the people I photograph here in Norway.

Whether it’s a family session, a couple, or an individual portrait, my goal is simple—to capture you at your best in a relaxed and natural way, and to create images that feel honest, timeless, and meaningful.
